Candidate for the position of Treasurer
Affiliated with Crye-Leike, REALTORS®
How long have you been a member of CAR?
Almost 19 years
In the past 3 years, what have you done to improve your skills as a real estate professional?
As managing broker at Crye-Leike, Realtors, I do a lot of training with brand new agents and veteran agents and or affiliate broker’s and brokers. I am constantly training and taking classes in preparation. Education is the key to improving my ability to be a professional.
What is your history of service to the association and its members (committees, events, etc.)?
I have served on many committees over the years and participated in many events. In addition, I was elected to the Clarksville Association of Realtors President for 2011. During that year my main objective was to create I knew committee for specifically for starting CAR Leadership. During the three-year term I was also a part of changing and updating our bylaws. I was also Realtor of the Year 2012.
Why do you serve at the association?
I serve at the association to make our association better as to help our overall real estate industry.
Why do you want to be Treasurer?
I would like to see if there’s ways to better our financial stability and look at new ideas and/or old ideas to see if there are ways or finances to try them out. I have never ran for treasure of our association. One of the main purposes of Leadership CAR was too fast track more agents to be able to run for positions at our association and not take 6 to 10 years to do so. With that said I feel like everyone should participate that wants to and and not have the same old guard holding seats for decades.
What do you feel are your strongest attributes that you will bring to the table if elected?
Experience as I have been in the business for 19 years. I’ve been a brand new agent, managing broker for the same firm for 14 years and A multi million dollar producer for years. But basically my strongest attribute is I am an idea guy… Meaning when there’s a situation or problems or concerns, I like to offer new or old ideas as solutions.
Any additional statement or information.
I would be happy and honored to serve our association again.
